Opposition to
Anchor In RV Campground

Alton Ave and Bayside Rd Neighbors care deeply about the future of our community and the character of the area we call home. We are putting together a coordinated effort to oppose the proposed Anchor In Campground at 566 Bayside Rd.

Would you want this in your backyard?

Current Ellsworth ordinances would allow it. We are seeking Ellsworth residents that live in rural zones to join us in our ask for a moratorium. Click below to contact us.

OUR CONCERNS

With this proposal to convert the existing residential lot into a high-density commercial one, our neighbors are concerned about traffic, the impact on emergency services, security risks, wildlife displacement, wetlands impact, water contamination, decrease in property values, increased trespassing and infringement on quality of life. We are speaking out on behalf of a community, a landscape, and a way of life that we believe are worth protecting.
